how This Works!
Sometimes photos can be over or under exposed. No problem! I can adjust the final rendering and bring out certain highlights or shadows as needed.
Step #1
Find the best portrait worthy photos you have of your pet, home, or family members. If you have multiple pets or people you want together in the same portrait, I can assemble the pets or people from different photos into one portrait...be it collage or a grouping like the above dog portrait. So don't worry if your subjects are not all in the same photo. If you are in the Northwoods area, I can also come out to your home and take the necessary photos I need to accomplish a great portrait.
Step #2
Send me the photos via mail or email. If you send them via mail, make sure you are sending me a duplicate version and not the original photograph, unless you have duplicates or the original negatives. I cannot be responsible for what happens in the mail...photos and letters as well as checks have been lost through the mail, and we don't want your "only" photo to be lost as well. You will get your photos back with the portrait I draw or paint. Like ordering from a catalog, payment is made up front. We take cards over the phone so it's quick and easy. A receipt is either texted or email to you, your choice. The price of the portraits are based on size and detail as well as medium of your choice: Oil, Ebony Pencil, or Watercolor. Since all portraits are different, there is no "set" price. It's all on an individual basis that we discuss. You give me your reasonable deadline and I will get it done on time. If you need it really fast, we can usually arrange for that to happen.
Step #3
Once I receive the photos and the payment upfront, you are put on the schedule and I will start your portrait, call you along the way and let you know how things are going, and get it done for you!
Step #4
When I'm finished with the portrait I will package it in a foam board protective book. If you need it shipped, I will wrap it up with extra packaging material and put insurance on it, making sure your investment is covered. More shipping details are available... I will call you once the portrait is complete. I can email you a photo of the finished work if you should choose. But most people just want to be surprised and wait until they open up my package.

Shipping !
I have shipped artwork from large to small all across the country. There is an additional charge for shipping, which also depends on size of the package and destination. It usually starts around $10 and is usually no more than $30.
I put insurance on the package to assure that it gets to you safely and securely...protecting your investment as well as mine!
